Practical lessons

Practise entering, positioning, signalling and leaving a roundabout while observing the area around the vehicle.

Assess the signs, visibility, the priority-to-the-right rule and other road users’ intentions before entering a junction.

Learn where the priority-to-the-right rule applies, where it does not and how to show readiness at uncontrolled junctions.

Notice railway crossings early, obey signals and barriers and never enter without a clear route out.
